Seamless Triptych | 2026

For the inaugural exhibition at Virginia MOCA Seamless: Art and Design, I created a triptych of looping animations: The Snakes, The Spoils, and The Extraction. The show brought together fifteen artists who also work as designers, blurring the line between design and fine art and pulling in the language of illustration, typography, and street culture. The show was co-curated by Heather Hakimzadeh and Eric Wiggins of Thank You Gallery.

The animations explore indulgence and the way youth and nature are drained for the profit of others. Each one is about 12 seconds long and runs in the museum as an endless loop. The video above is an edit of the three animations. I animated and painted everything in Photoshop and composited in After Effects.
